| Biography |
Born into a poor family in Australia, Farkaster had little, if any, access to music and equipment to feed his ever-hungry musical mind. Escaping from abusive and violent parents, he left home at age 13, and spent his early teen years as a drifting busker and street kid. Often he would sneak into dance venues and late night clubs for shelter, where he found the constant rhythms, melodies, and sounds to be his deepest solace.
The negative became a positive as he learned how dance music affected people, and his love of electronica found it's way into his very soul. Before too long, he had found the best available teachers, and began studying music in depth, as well as learning all about creating his own grooves and mixes.
He spent a number of years doing his apprenticeship programming covers and originals for shows with midi gear. He constantly recorded himself and other artists for demos and releases. This honed his all-round expertise to a tee in midi & recording, writing & arranging, and performing & working a crowd. In the process, he took on any gig to help pay for equipment, and gradually aquired a rig that rivals the best there is.
As time went on, he gradually began doing more and more of his own arrangements, until crowds were dancing to Farkaster's live remixes and his own material. The time has arrived for Farkaster. As a master craftsman, he now embraces the opportunity to expose his soul, and allows his unique sound to be recorded and released for the world to enjoy.
This is the first step in a long walk with Farkaster, and it is likely, that along the way, and far into the future, Farkaster will be the sound that unlocks a memory of a part of your life.

"Still wanting to work on this track more, I did a dance remix of the track, and then from there I did a slightly harder version. This is it. So far it's my favourite of the dance trax, and that's great because everyone is getting off on it".

"Nic Harris has a really soulful approach to vocals, and I wanted to get her on this track, as I could hear her parts in my head. When she came in to record, she finished the whole thing in a matter of minutes, I it gives me chills! I think we'll be doing many more in the future!
