Adelaide based band Rock N Swing Rebels are dedicated to playing groovy versions of 30s to current music with panache, humour and style.
Repertoire varies from the great Rock N Rollers like Elvis and Bill Hailey to the Big Band swingers and crooners like Glen Miller and Frank Sinatra. The "Rebels" cool Rock N Swing arrangements include newer artists such as Kurt Cobain, Chili Peppers, U2 and Madonna, with lots of Stones and Beatles thrown in. Add the musical mastery and humour of two of Adelaide's most well-known musicians, and you have the fabulous fun-time style that is the Rock N Swing Rebels.
At the core of the band is Richie Robinson on guitar, and Les Millar on double bass and vocals. The band can expand up to a fabulous ten piece line-up, complete with a full horn section, piano, percussion, and various special guests. Great for cocktail & dining moods, and for partying it up and dancing the night away!!
